Work from home, UK client, 3 Months Contractual, Android Developer (Kotlin) position

This role is for a substantial, fast-growing, and well-respected UK digital firm who have hired us to exclusively recruit for them. It is a three months contractual Work From Home position and every day youll be working directly as part of their UK team. It is a senior role with real opportunities to learn and develop.

They are looking to make a full-time hire for a short-term position.

Location: Remote Work from Home in India

Minimum Experience: 4 years

Shift Timings: 12 pm - 9:30 pm (Summer), 1 pm - 10:30 pm (Winter)

Roles and responsibilities

• Integrating with JSON RESTful APIs
• Design app architectures that support scalability, maintainability, and testability
• Designing and implementing front end features that users interact with
• Daily collaboration with backend developers and possibly, another android developer therefore ability to use version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Address complex technical issues related to app performance, compatibility, user experience, and platform-specific challenges
• Storing of code in The Hub’s SVN area

Essential skills and experience

• Android Development (4 years)
• Kotlin (4 years)
• Knowledge of APIs (3 Years)
• Proven skill in flawless android development
• Vast experience working with backend developers and product owners/managers
• Experience in similar projects to the ones embarked on now.
• Excellent written and spoken English
