Job Summary:
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a critical role in the strategic and operational leadership of our real estate company. Responsible for overseeing the daily business operations, the COO will work closely with the CEO to ensure the company meets its financial, operational, and strategic goals. This role requires a highly skilled leader with expertise in real estate operations, project management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company's vision and business goals.
- Collaborate with the executive team to drive profitability and efficiency.
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee property development, construction, and sales activities to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including project management, procurement, and vendor relationships.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor senior managers across various departments (sales, Project, marketing, operations, finance, and legal).
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
Financial Management:
- Work with the finance team to develop budgets, forecast revenues, and monitor cost control.
- Analyse financial reports to identify areas for improvement and ensure profitability.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for project delivery and business operations.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, contractors, clients, and other key stakeholders.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
- B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from a Tier 1 college. This requirement ensures a strong technical foundation and aligns with the demands of the role in the real estate industry.
Experience:
- 20+ years of leadership experience in the real estate industry, with a strong understanding of development, operations, and sales processes.
Proven track record in managing large-scale projects and leading diverse teams.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Expertise in financial planning, project management, and operational optimization.
- Knowledge of real estate regulations, compliance standards, and market trends.
