Responsibilities Backend - Job Responsibilities:

1. Backend Development: o Develop server-side logic, APIs, and microservices using Node.js. o Implement business logic and ensure efficient handling of data.

2. Database Management: o Design, develop, and maintain databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL). o Optimize database queries for performance.

3. API Integration: o Build and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs. o Integrate third-party APIs and services.

4. Security: o Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth). o Ensure data protection and application security best practices.

5. Testing and Debugging: o Write unit and integration tests using tools like Mocha, Chai, or Jest. o Identify and resolve bugs and
performance bottlenecks.

6. Collaboration: o Work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of APIs. o Participate in team discussions, code reviews, and agile processes.

7. Deployment and Maintenance: o Deploy applications to cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). o Manage CI/CD pipelines and containerization using tools like Docker or Kubernetes.

Required Skills: Strong knowledge of JavaScript and modern ES6+ features. Proficiency with Node.js frameworks like Express.js, Nest.js, or Koa.js. Familiarity with NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) and SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) databases. Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture. Knowledge of version control systems like Git. Experience with real-time communication (e.g., WebSockets, Socket.io).

Preferred Skills: Familiarity with TypeScript for building type-safe applications. Experience with serverless architecture (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions). Hands-on experience with performance optimization and load balancing. Soft Skills: Problem-solving and critical thinking. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
