Job Title: AGM - Site Lead

Location: Luhari - Haryana

Reporting To: General Manager - Business head.

Job Summary:

The AGM - Site Lead for Operations is responsible for overseeing and leading all operations within the Grocery Fulfilment Center (FC), ensuring efficient execution of services while managing operations as a 3P Warehousing Service Provider. This includes handling end-to-end logistics operations, such as inventory control, order Fulfilment, stock management, and returns processing for external clients. The role involves manpower management, cost optimization, process improvements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The Site Lead will oversee floor control, contingency management, and client relationships, while driving business development and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and People Management:

- Lead and manage all daily operations within the Fulfilment center, ensuring effective staffing, training, and performance management.

- Supervise associates and DEOs, ensuring adherence to operational procedures, safety standards, and high levels of productivity.

- Develop and implement manpower rosters, ensuring sufficient coverage across shifts and maintaining optimal productivity.

- Foster a positive and productive work environment while resolving internal conflicts and managing IR (Industrial Relations) issues.

Operational Excellence and Strategy Planning:

- Develop and execute operational strategies to drive efficiency, quality, and throughput in providing 3P warehousing services.

- Oversee floor operations, ensuring that inventory is stored and processed efficiently for clients, and resolve operational issues as they arise.

- Drive continuous process improvements within the Fulfilment center, optimizing order picking, inventory control, dispatch, and returns management.

- Manage shift operations, ensuring smooth transitions and efficient operations during peak and off-peak hours.

Cost Management and Savings:

- Oversee cost management initiatives, ensuring the efficient use of resources and labor to meet both internal and client-specific service requirements.

- Drive cost-saving programs within the Fulfilment center, focusing on labor optimization, waste reduction, and improving operational efficiency.

- Monitor operational budgets and track expenses to ensure that financial targets are met.

Data Analytics and Reporting:

- Use data analytics to monitor operational performance, tracking KPIs such as order Fulfilment time, stock accuracy, and client satisfaction.

- Analyze performance data to provide insights that improve operations and client services, while identifying areas for optimization.

- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on operational performance, client delivery, and areas for improvement.

Stakeholder and Client Management:

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships, addressing operational concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction with 3P warehousing services.

- Coordinate with clients to ensure their specific warehousing, order Fulfilment, and logistics requirements are met consistently.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure smooth operations and alignment with client expectations.

Rostering and Shift Management:

- Develop and manage manpower rosters, ensuring that adequate staffing levels are maintained to meet operational and client demands.

- Ensure that operations run smoothly across all shifts, managing resource allocation to meet peak-time requirements and operational efficiency.

- Monitor workforce performance and adjust staffing levels as required to maintain optimal operational standards.

Process Improvement and Business Development:

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practices in warehouse management, inventory control, order Fulfilment, and logistics processes.

- Collaborate with senior management to identify new business opportunities, expand service offerings, and develop solutions to improve customer satisfaction.

- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in technology, implementing innovations that improve operational efficiency and client service.

Managing 3P Warehousing Services:

- Operate the Fulfilment center as a 3P warehousing service provider, handling all aspects of warehousing, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching inventory for clients.

- Ensure smooth integration of warehousing services with client operations, optimizing inventory flow, order accuracy, and timely delivery.

- Manage client-specific requirements such as stock rotation, special storage needs, and custom packaging or labelling instructions.

- Oversee returns processing and liquidations for clients, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and re-distribution or disposal of returns.

- Ensure compliance with all client agreements, regulatory requirements, and service level agreements (SLAs), monitoring performance against agreed KPIs and resolving issues promptly.

- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance service quality, reduce operational costs, and improve efficiency within the 3P warehousing services.

Contingency and Crisis Management:

- Develop and manage contingency plans to address operational disruptions, ensuring minimal impact to service delivery.

- Take ownership of crisis management, ensuring quick resolutions to issues related to order delays, inventory discrepancies, or external disruptions.

- Monitor operational risks and take proactive steps to mitigate potential issues before they impact clients or operational efficiency.

Liaison with Local Authorities:

- Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, environmental guidelines, and labor laws within the Fulfilment center.

- Manage communication and relationships with local authorities, ensuring that all audits, inspections, and certifications are handled efficiently.

- Address legal and regulatory issues as they arise, ensuring the Fulfilment center operates within the required frameworks.

Key Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field (preferred). MBA mandatory.

Experience:

- 5-8 years of experience in warehouse or Fulfilment operations, particularly in providing 3P warehousing services.

- Proven experience in managing large teams, external client relationships, and third-party service agreements.

- Strong background in operations management, logistics, inventory control, and client service.

Skills:

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and manage a diverse team.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with experience in driving operational efficiencies and implementing process improvements.

- In-depth knowledge of warehousing, inventory management, and order Fulfilment processes.

- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other operational software.

- Strong data analysis and reporting skills to drive informed decision-making.
