- Our client is located in Bangalore, is a D2C consumer food company, focussed on delighting the world with an unmatched range of food products

Job Role and Responsibilities:

- Working closely with cross-functional teams in driving profitability

- Deep analysis of gross margins and sharing insights with business units to drive actions Prepare and analyse category PnLs every month and make forecasts for proactive actions

- Track Gross margin bridge and work towards element-wise portability improvement path Preparing and reviewing category-wise plans vs. actuals every month

- Review Sourcing rates and drive pricing corrections based on market

- Doing an in-depth analysis of variance and communicating the same to create visibility and enable the planning of actionable

- Establish an effective monthly cadence of cross-functional review of category PnLs, sharing insights and proactively highlighting actionable

- Tracking and monitoring agreed actions and ensuring delivery of same

- Tracking and measuring key financial and business metrics to respective firms on sourcing & factory costs

- Preparing SOPs and policies for the costing system

- Preparing scenario analysis and developing business cases on product enhancement or business initiatives and presenting them to top management

- Handling ad hoc requests and problem-solving with a short turnaround time and supporting decisions via thorough analysis

Qualification and Experience :

- Have 4 - 6 years of experience in Business Finance

- Have business acumen : Ability to understand problem statements and structure solutions

- Have analytical skills : Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data analysis and reporting. (Tableau added advantage)

- Take Initiative : Proactively take initiatives to improve campaign performance and drive results.
