Job Description

At Skrap, we provide zero waste services for events, organizations and brands, as well as sustainability workshops for corporates and communities. Our aim is to reduce and divert waste away from landfills, build awareness and inspire positive climate action.

If you have prior business development or sales experience, a flair for crafting engaging presentations and a love for crunching numbers, this role could be a perfect fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead generation: Identify and cultivate leads through various channels. Reach out to prospective clients and effectively manage business inquiries, highlighting our zero waste offerings for Events, Workshops and Offices.

- Pitch to clients: Craft and deliver compelling, customised presentations to meet client needs. Ensure persuasive pitches to both existing and potential clients.

- Proposal development: Understand client requirements, curate offerings and create tailored proposals. Ensure timely responses to client requests.

- Client relationship management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients. Collaborate with internal teams to develop customised offerings that align with client needs.

- Client outreach: Conduct regular outreach through emailers, newsletters, blogs, and other mediums to showcase our latest projects and offerings.

- Performance monitoring and reporting: Monitor, track and analyze key performance indicators related to business development, sales performance, and client satisfaction. Prepare regular reports to communicate progress, achievements and challenges.

Apply for this, if you:

- Have minimum 2 years of proven experience in business development or sales

- Enjoy building meaningful conversations with clients, and invest time in cultivating strong client relationships

- Have excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills, complemented by good listening skills. You can synthesize client requirements, connect the dots and pitch relevant offerings.

- Are perseverant and have a proactive approach to client follow-up and engagement

- Care deeply about our environment and are committed to creating positive climate action

Location:

This is a full-time role open to candidates based in Mumbai (preferable) or Bangalore. We are a remote-first organization and offer flexible work hours.
