Project Finance Role - Bank (2-12 yrs)

Hiring for a Leading Private Sector Bank

Responsibilities :

1. Project Appraisal

- Detailed appraisal for Project Finance and Structured Finance deals in the Sector.

- Financial Modelling for preparation of projections, sensitivity analysis, various viability ratios/parameters, etc.

- Preparation of Credit Approval Memorandum and other internal notes/memos for obtaining necessary sanctions and approvals from Sanctioning Authorities

- In-depth analysis of Annual Reports and detailed analysis of P&L, Balance Sheet, Financial Ratios, Cash Flows, etc.

- Assisting in Transaction Structuring and Term Sheet Preparation / Negotiation

- Engage with clients (Large/Mid Corporates, Funds, InvITs, Syndicating Banks/FIs, etc) and ensure comprehensive viability and risk assessment.

- Carry out detailed Risk Assessment and Mitigation analysis

2. Portfolio Monitoring and Control.

- Maintain Portfolio Hygiene minimizing exceptions, documentation/security related pendency's, covenant compliance, etc.

- Liaise with external stakeholders (LIE, Consortium lenders, credit rating agencies, etc), attend consortium meetings, carry out site visits,etc. for comprehensive sanction and monitoring of the Project.

- Engage with Loan Syndication team and other Banks/FIs for down selling of portfolio accounts, wherever required

- Work along with Relationship team for completion of Documentation, disbursement, resolving audit/compliance, exceptions, etc.

- Liaise with internal stakeholders including Relationship, Credit, DCM, Treasury, etc. for sanction and monitoring.

3. Sector Expertise

- Develop sectoral expertise, identifying trends, illustrating understanding of consumers, competition and current market conditions through primary and secondary research

- Track Sector developments and engage with industry experts, attend conferences, etc

- Share sector trends/developments, prepare management presentations to drive proactive identification of business opportunities in the sector

- Build relationships with clients through engagement at sector meets/conferences.
