Analytics Head (10-20 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Analytics to lead our data and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven insights to drive business decisions, optimize trading strategies, enhance customer experience, and improve overall performance. This role requires strong leadership skills, expertise in financial markets, and proficiency in advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning applications within the stock broking industry.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement the analytics strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.

- Lead the analytics team in processing large datasets to generate actionable insights for trading, investment strategies, and risk management.

- Utilize predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI to enhance client recommendations, algorithmic trading, and portfolio optimization.

- Oversee real-time data analytics and market trend analysis to support trading decisions.

- Collaborate with technology, risk, and trading teams to develop and enhance analytical tools and platforms.

- Drive automation in reporting, data visualization, and business intelligence processes.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements concerning data security and analytics practices.

- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and enhance the effectiveness of

analytics-driven initiatives.

- Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.

- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in financial analytics.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

- 12+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably within the financial services, stock broking, or investment domain.

- Strong knowledge of stock markets, trading strategies, and financial instruments.

- Expertise in data analytics tools such as Python, R, SQL, and machine learning frameworks.

- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.

- Proven track record in leading analytics-driven business transformations.

- Ability to manage large datasets, big data technologies, and cloud-based analytics solutions.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong problem-solving abilities with an analytical mindset.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in algorithmic trading and quantitative finance.

- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in stock broking and financial markets.

- Certifications such as CFA, FRM, or advanced analytics certifications are a plus.
