The Stock Incharge is responsible for managing the inventory and stock levels of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products within a Plant. This role ensures that inventory is accurately tracked, stock levels are optimized, and products are available for production and distribution in line with demand. The Stock Incharge will be involved in stock taking, ordering, storage, and maintaining accurate records to support efficient production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Oversee the daily management of stock in the warehouse, ensuring accurate stock levels are maintained.
Track inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, returns, and adjustments.
Ensure accurate documentation of all stock movements in the inventory management system.
Conduct regular stock counts (e.g., cycle counting, periodic audits) and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure timely replenishment of stocks as per production needs, following the approved order cycle.
Stock Organization & Storage:
Ensure all raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods are stored correctly and in compliance with safety standards.
Optimize storage space and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Implement proper labeling, segregation, and documentation of materials based on the products requirements.
Stock Replenishment & Ordering :
Monitor stock levels of raw materials and finished products to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
Place orders for new stock in a timely manner to management or Vendor, ensuring that lead times are met and materials are available when needed.
Ensure minimal wastage or expiration of perishable goods through regular stock rotation and FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
Receiving & Dispatching :
Supervise the receipt of goods from suppliers, ensuring that the correct quantity and quality of stock are received.
Check the delivery documentation and resolve any discrepancies with the supplier.
Coordinate the timely dispatch of finished goods to upper level management, ensuring accurate orders are sent out.
Maintain a log of all incoming and outgoing stock on regular basis manually.
Stock Control & Accuracy:
Maintain an accurate record of all stock transactions (in and out), ensuring that manually & the system is up-to-date and reflects the physical stock accurately.
Perform regular checks and audits to minimize stock discrepancies and identify areas for improvement.
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare and submit regular reports on stock levels, usage trends, and stock movement.
Assist in generating forecasts and projections for stock needs based on production schedules and historical usage.
Track slow-moving or obsolete stock and take appropriate actions to clear them.
Experience:
Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in a Store Inventory management role within a manufacturing environment.
Experience in a specific industry (food production)
SALARY:
Depends upon your knowledge Experience in Food processing industry specially in Dry fruits or Breakfast Cereals.
Salary starting from 22k and upto 27k approx. if appropriate candidate
Candidate must have politeness and strong positive attitude to handle Material ,cleanliness and complete deadlines.
