About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our global technology team, working primarily with US West Coast clients and India-based delivery teams. This role demands excellence in project delivery, strong technical understanding, and the ability to work effectively across time zones while leveraging modern tools like Smartsheet and AI for optimal project execution.

Working Hours

- Primary Hours: 6:30 PM - 3:30 AM IST (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM PST)

- Core Collaboration: 7:30 PM - 11:30 PM IST (7:00 AM - 11:00 AM PST)

- Flexibility required for critical situations

Primary Responsibilities

Project Management

- Lead multiple concurrent technology projects from inception to delivery

- Create and maintain detailed project plans in Smartsheet

- Manage project scope, timeline, and budget across multiple initiatives

- Conduct daily standups and status meetings with development teams

- Track and report project metrics, KPIs, and milestone achievements

- Implement and maintain project governance frameworks

- Manage resource allocation across various projects

Team Leadership

- Guide and mentor India-based technical teams

- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between teams

- Lead sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions

- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles for team success

- Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback

- Ensure optimal resource utilization across projects

Client Communication

- Serve as the primary point of contact for US stakeholders

- Deliver regular project status updates and presentations

- Manage stakeholder expectations and communication

- Escalate and resolve critical issues promptly

- Create and present executive summaries and reports

Tools & Process Management

- Advanced usage of Smartsheet for project tracking and reporting

- Leverage AI tools for project optimization and forecasting

- Create automated workflows and dashboards

- Implement best practices for project documentation

- Maintain project repositories and knowledge bases

Required Qualifications / Experience

- 5+ years of project management experience in technology

- Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects

- Experience working with US clients and offshore teams

- Strong background in Agile methodologies

- History of successful project deliveries

Technical Skills

- Expert level Smartsheet proficiency

- Understanding of software development lifecycle

- Experience with AI-powered project management tools

- Proficiency in collaboration tools (MS Teams, Slack)

- Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities
