Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. ERP System Management:

  • • Implementation and Customization: Configure the ERP system to align with the companys specific operational needs, particularly modules for inventory management, fuel tracking, and HR processes.
  • • Process Optimization: Automate workflows such as material requisition, fuel usage logging, payroll, and attendance tracking within the ERP system.
  • • Issue Resolution: Promptly address and resolve system bugs and functionality issues reported by ERP supervisors.
  • 2. GPS and Fuel Sensor Integration:
  • • Fuel Monitoring: Oversee the integration of GPS devices and fuel sensors to monitor fuel levels, consumption rates, and refueling events.
  • • Trip Verification: Utilize GPS data to manually verify trip details, ensuring accuracy in kilometer readings and route adherence.
  • • Idling and Working Time Analysis: Monitor idling and operational times through GPS data to identify opportunities for reducing fuel consumption.
  • 3. Implementation of GPS Timestamp Cameras:
  • • Checkpoint Monitoring: Deploy GPS timestamp cameras at strategic checkpoints to capture time-stamped images of vehicles and equipment, ensuring compliance with operational schedules and routes.
  • • Data Integration: Integrate visual data from timestamp cameras into the ERP system to corroborate GPS and manual records, enhancing data accuracy and accountability.
  • • Anomaly Detection: Analyze images to detect discrepancies such as unauthorized stops, route deviations, or unreported activities, facilitating prompt corrective actions.
  • 4. Inventory Management:
  • • Stock Monitoring: Ensure real-time tracking of inventory levels across sites, utilizing data from the ERP system.
  • • Loss Prevention: Implement controls to detect and prevent pilferage or unauthorized use of materials.
  • • Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile physical inventory with ERP records to maintain accuracy.
  • 5. Human Resources Oversight:
  • • Attendance and Payroll: Ensure accurate recording of attendance, leave, and overtime data in the ERP system for seamless payroll processing.
  • • Compliance: Maintain adherence to Indian labor laws and regulations within HR processes managed through the ERP system.
  • 6. Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • • Comprehensive Reporting: Generate detailed reports on inventory status, fuel consumption, trip analysis, HR metrics, and project progress for management review.
  • • KPI Tracking: Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to operational efficiency, such as fuel efficiency, inventory turnover, and employee productivity.
  • 7. Team Leadership:
  • • Supervision: Manage ERP supervisors across various sites, ensuring accurate data entry and adherence to operational protocols.
  • • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions to enhance supervisors’ proficiency in both ERP and GPS systems.
  • • Performance Evaluation: Assess team performance based on data accuracy, reporting timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
  • 8. Compliance and Auditing:
  • • Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data captured in both ERP and GPS systems.
  • • Regulatory Compliance: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements, particularly concerning fuel management, inventory control, and HR processes.
  • 9. System Maintenance and Upgrades:
  • • Updates: Manage system upgrades for both ERP and GPS platforms, ensuring minimal operational disruption during implementation.
  • • Feature Enhancement: Identify and propose new features or modules to improve system efficiency, tailored to the specific needs of mining and infrastructure operations.
  • 10. Strategic Planning:
  • • Continuous Improvement: Analyze data from ERP and GPS systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
  • • Scalability Planning: Ensure that both systems are scalable to support future company growth and the management of larger projects.

Essential Skills:

  • • Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and GPS tracking technologies relevant to the mining industry.
  • • Analytical Abilities: Strong skills in data analysis to interpret information from ERP and GPS systems for informed decision-making.
  • • Leadership: Effective team management capabilities to oversee supervisors across multiple sites.
  • • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Indian compliance standards for inventory management, fuel tracking, labor laws, and asset monitoring.


Preferred candidate profile

Skilled in Google sheets development, technical support, and software testing. Proven expertise in sloving complex technical issues and optimizing processes. Strong collaboration and problem-sloving abilities.
