Responsibilities include:

• Financial planning: Creating a financial strategy, budget, and cash flow projections
• Financial reporting: Overseeing the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, tax returns, and shareholder reports
• Financial analysis: Analyzing the company's financial performance, identifying opportunities for growth, and proposing corrective actions
• Investment: Deciding where to invest company funds, identifying investment opportunities, and managing mergers and acquisitions
• Risk management: Proactively responding to crises and building organizational resilience
• Team leadership: Leading and managing the finance team, setting goals, providing feedback, and creating a collaborative work culture
• External relationships: Establishing and maintaining relationships with investors, lenders, and vendors
• Compliance: Ensuring financial policies and procedures are in place and adhered to

Preferred candidate profile

• MBA or bachelors degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent experience.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting and financial management practices.
• Experience in a senior management position.
• Proficiency with accounting software, word processing, and spreadsheets.
• Solid financial reporting technical skills.
