Sr. Engineer/AM, Maintenance

Role & responsibilities

1. Designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.

2. Organizing routine servicing schedules. Making scheduled checks on machinery and parts and carry our scheduled maintenance to avoid the equipment breakdowns.

3. Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipments.

4. Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs.

5. Allocating work to a team of fitters.

6. Checking and calibrating instruments to make sure they are accurate.

7. Carrying out quality inspections.

8. Fixing faults or arranging for replacements to be installed.

9. Organizing teams to make sure 24-hour cover is available. Coordinating with the Production Managers.

10. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations.

11. Responding immediately to machinery breakdowns.

12. Responsible for handing for three Manufacturing Units in India and UAE.

Preferred candidate profile

• Must have exposure in Erection and commissioning of various machines and electrical panels. Done Extensive Maintenance work.
• Extensive exposure in AC, DC & Servo Drives.
• PLC programming will be an advantage.
• Can independently handle big electrical panels.
• Must have basic knowledge of using computers.
• Should be fluent in English (Hindi is optional).
• Cross Functional/ Location Team Handling experience is must.
• Industry Preference: Any Printing/ Packaging/ Paper/ Pharma/ Electronics Manufacturing
• This role will involve travelling to other units location as and when needed.
