Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical/Electrical Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the maintenance of mechanical and electrical machines, ensuring that they meet technical specifications and performance standards. The ideal candidate will be an innovative problem solver, capable of working across multiple disciplines and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical Engineering:
  
• CNC/VMC Machine Maintenance:
  
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of CNC/VMC machines, including motors, drives, spindles, and tool changers.
• Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and issues related to mechanical, electrical, and software components.
• Carry out routine inspections to ensure all machines are operating at peak efficiency.
• Conduct machine calibrations, alignments, and adjustments to ensure accuracy and precision.
• Perform lubrication, cleaning, and replacement of worn-out components.
• Repairs and Troubleshooting:
  
• Identify root causes of machine failures and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues in CNC/VMC systems.

• Electrical Engineering:
  
• PLC-Based CNC/VMC Maintenance:
  
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PLC-controlled CNC and VMC machines, ensuring their smooth operation and optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC, electrical, and mechanical issues related to CNC/VMC machines, including motors, drives, control systems, and interfaces.
• Modify and upload new PLC programs as needed to improve performance, correct faults, or optimize machine operations.
• Test and calibrate CNC/VMC machines, ensuring proper alignment, functionality, and accuracy.
• Utility Systems Maintenance:
  
• Maintain and troubleshoot utility systems, including air compressors, hydraulic systems, cooling units, and other infrastructure critical to machine operations.
• Perform scheduled checks and inspections of utility systems, ensuring proper operation and minimal disruptions.
• Maintain fluid levels, filtration, and ensure consistent performance of cooling and lubrication systems used by CNC/VMC machines.
• Electrical & Mechanical Troubleshooting:
  
• Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical faults in CNC/VMC systems, motors, drives, sensors, and other related components.
• Repair or replace electrical components such as circuit breakers, transformers, relays, and wiring.
• Conduct regular maintenance on mechanical systems, including bearings, spindles, and tool changers, to ensure the machines run at peak performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Knowledge of control systems, PLC programming, and embedded systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with industrial automation systems and machine vision systems.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems, sensors, and industrial robotics.
• Familiarity with ISO and other industry-standard maintenance practices.
• Certification in PLC programming or related areas.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work in a plant or industrial environment, which can involve exposure to high noise levels and heavy machinery.
• Flexibility in working hours, including the possibility of overtime or on-call work as needed.
• Ability to lift heavy components and tools, as necessary, and perform physically demanding tasks
