- Quality Control: Implement and manage quality control processes and procedures to ensure that construction work adheres to project specifications and industry standards
- Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to assess the quality of workmanship, materials, and construction processes
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, non-conformities, and corrective actions
- Document any deviations from project plans and standards
- Testing: Arrange and oversee various tests and examinations, such as materials testing, non-destructive testing (NDT), and structural testing, to verify the quality of work
- Compliance: Ensure that construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
- Quality Assurance Plans: Develop and implement quality assurance plans and inspection checklists to guide quality control efforts
- Reporting: Prepare detailed inspection and quality control reports for project management and stakeholders, highlighting any issues and suggesting corrective actions
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate the root causes of quality issues and non-conformities and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Audits: Conduct quality audits and compliance checks to identify areas for improvement and ensure that established quality standards are met
