Sr. Executive / Assistant Manager - Industrial relations

Role & responsibilities

• Work with line managers and union representative to handle employee complaints, settle disputes and resolve grievances.

• Coordinate employee disciplinary process and grievances handling;

• Ensure statutory compliance such as ESIC, PF, APPRENTICE Act and CONTRACT LABOR ACT etc.

• Managing Statutory Compliances related to factory act, industrial dispute act and other labour laws.

• Ensure employee disciplinary issues are fairly and consistently implemented and in accordance with workers condition of service across all department

• Maintain all personnel file, wage register, bonus register, and sick register, fine register etc all relevant documents as per law.

• Advise management on all matters that involve conflict between employees. Assist in the development of HR, IR and ER labour protocols, operating procedures and handbooks.

• Responsible for social audit clearance and compliances under factory act, industrial dispute act, standing order, PF, ESIC, bonus, payment of wages, minimum wages, and contract labour regulation abolition act etc.

• Liaison with relevant official department and authorities

• Handle Housekeeping and Security matters of the factory

• Organize health camps, trainings and engagement events at the factory.

• Maintain harmonious Industrial Relations and prompt grievance handling of employees

• Ensure continuous revision, internal training and updates are provided on various IR and ER and recent case law and that this is conducted regularly across all levels of staff and where necessary coordinate external training on relevant matters.
