Analytics & BI Principal

The Analytics & BI Principal is responsible for defining and implementing best-practice analytics and business intelligence (BI) standards and strategies for the Data & AI (D&AI) Practice and its clients. The role requires an individual passionate about transforming data into actionable, valuable insights that drive business decisions. As a strategic leader, this position will be highly visible, influential, and integral to both client success and the growth of the D&AI practice.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analytics Strategy Development:
   
• Establish and drive best-practice analytics vision and strategy for both the vertical and horizontal D&AI marketplace.
• Define and maintain Points of View (PoVs) and analytic accelerators to position and differentiate Trianz from competitors, providing a strategic advantage in the marketplace.
2. Business Intelligence (BI) Analysis:
   
• Lead the development of world-class data visualization solutions and storytelling techniques to make complex quantitative data accessible and valuable to stakeholders.
• Demonstrate expertise in visualizing and interpreting data to create actionable insights that drive business decisions.
3. Client Engagement & Consultation:
   
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their challenges, translating business requirements into data-driven solutions that provide significant value.
• Engage with clients regularly to ensure continued alignment on analytics objectives and support proposal development.
4. Service Offering Maturity:
   
• Represent and mature analytics capacity within D&AIs core service offerings: Business Analytics & Insight, Analytics Strategy & Advisory, and Adaptive Data Governance.
• Ensure services are consistently evolving to meet client needs and industry standards.
5. Leadership & Expertise Representation:
   
• Act as the companys Subject Matter Expert (SME) for analytics and business intelligence, sharing industry best practices and ensuring high-quality standards across projects.
• Lead by example to foster a culture of excellence in analytics within the organization.
6. Cross-Practice Collaboration:
   
• Collaborate within the D&AI Practice and across other internal teams to deliver industry-leading analytics solutions to clients.
• Support the growth and maturity of the practice by developing analytics standards and processes, establishing a Center of Excellence (CoE).
7. Innovation & Creativity:
   
• Demonstrate creativity by exploring and applying new technologies and methodologies to both new and existing client solutions.
• Maintain a customer-first mentality while applying innovative solutions to meet client demands.
8. Collaboration with Language Model & Gen AI:
   
• Work closely with the Language Model & Gen AI service offering to enhance and mature the analytics capabilities, integrating them with broader D&AI offerings.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 12+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, business intelligence (BI), visualization, and reporting technologies, delivering actionable insights to customers.
• Strategic Analytics Integration: Extensive experience embedding analytics strategically within business processes and workflows to enhance decision-making.
• BI Certifications (preferred):
• Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600).
• Tableau Data Analyst certification.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong experience in advanced SQL for data analysis and profiling.
• Proficient in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
• Experience with data management, data warehousing, and best practices in data mart development.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate complex data concepts to business users in understandable business terminology.
• Self-Management: Proven ability to multitask and self-manage goals and activities, demonstrating strong organizational and leadership skills.

Additional (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications:

• Vertical Experience: Experience with analytics in any of the following domains: Finance, Insurance, Contact Center, Marketing, or Supply Chain.
• Technological Expertise:
• Experience with BI tools such as AWS QuickSight, Qlik, Google Looker, Salesforce, Domo, OBIEE, Business Objects.
• Advanced skills in DAX, Power Query (including M’), and Python or R for advanced analytics.
• Data Governance: Familiarity with data governance best practices.
