Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Android Architect to lead and guide the development of scalable, high-performance Android applications.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Android architecture, design patterns, and development best practices, with the ability to architect solutions that meet both technical and business needs.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, high-quality Android applications, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems and third-party services.

Key Responsibilities :

Architect and Design : Lead the design and development of Android applications from inception to deployment. Architect scalable, robust, and reusable solutions that align with industry best practices.

Technical Leadership : Provide technical leadership to a team of Android developers. Conduct code reviews, enforce standards, and ensure quality across all development efforts.

Performance Optimization : Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and architectural challenges.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with Product Managers, UI/UX designers, Backend Engineers, and QA teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend systems.

Stay Current with Technology : Stay up to date with the latest Android technologies, frameworks, tools, and trends. Continuously explore and implement innovative solutions and best practices.

Mentoring & Team Building : Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team.

Testing & Automation : Develop automated tests to ensure application reliability and minimize downtime. Ensure apps are thoroughly tested before production deployment.

Security & Compliance : Implement and enforce best practices for security and privacy in Android applications, ensuring compliance with relevant data protection laws and guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills :

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in Android development, with 3+ years in an architecture or technical leadership role.

- Proven track record of designing and implementing high-performance, scalable Android applications.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Android SDK, Kotlin, and Java.

- Deep understanding of Android frameworks, architecture components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room), and Android Jetpack.

- Experience with MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture patterns.

- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and integrating mobile apps with backend services.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) and integrating mobile applications with cloud services.

- Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles for Android and ability to collaborate with designers.

- Experience with multithreading and asynchronous programming.

- Knowledge of build tools (Gradle, Maven) and version control (Git).
