Senior React Native Developer - Android/iOS Platforms (8-10 yrs)

Job Description :

As a Senior React Native Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. You will work closely with our product and design teams to deliver seamless and engaging user experiences.

Your expertise in React Native and native development will be crucial in optimizing app performance and ensuring platform-specific enhancements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native.

- Integrate native APIs and libraries to enhance app functionality and performance on Android and iOS.

- Work with native modules when required for specific platform features.

- Collaborate with designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth user experiences.

- Maintain code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.

- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile development.

- Participate in the full app lifecycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test, and release to app stores.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- 8+ years of professional experience in mobile development.

- Strong proficiency in React Native and its core principles.

- Solid understanding of native development for Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C).

- Experience with integrating native APIs and third-party libraries into React Native applications.

- Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.

- Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and integrating with back-end services.

- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with performance optimization techniques for React Native and native apps.

- Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines and tools.

- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Experience with automated testing frameworks for React Native and native applications.

- Understanding of mobile UX/UI design principles and best practices.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

- Contributions to open-source projects or a portfolio of published apps
