Senior Engineer - Electrical Maintenance

Oversee and maintain electrical systems in the engine machining and assembly lines .

Troubleshoot and manage PLC, NC, and automation systems in machining and assembly processes.

Perform in-depth breakdown analysis and provide technical support to Technicians .

Ensure power distribution, load balancing, and energy efficiency across the plant.

Prepare maintenance reports and documentation using MS Office for management review

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant electrical systems, including transformers, switch gear, distribution panels, and motors .

Troubleshoot and repair PLCs (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley), VFDs, robotics (ABB, Fanuc), and industrial automation systems .

Ensure the smooth operation of power conveyors, paint booths, and assembly line equipment .

Maintain Dynalec & SAJ test beds, AVL smoke meters, blow-by meters, and CNC machines (Nagel, Makino) .

Conduct root cause analysis for electrical failures and implement long-term corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical codes, and company maintenance policies .

Maintain electrical schematics, maintenance logs, and documentation for audits and inspections.

Support new equipment installation, commissioning, and modifications .

Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and support continuous production operations .

Process & System Optimization:

Conduct root cause analysis of electrical failures and implement corrective actions.

Create logical circuits for Kaizen improvements .

Ensure compliance with Simpson & Company Ltd.s maintenance policies, safety regulations, and electrical codes .

Support installation, commissioning, and modifications of new equipment.
