Role & responsibilities

Purpose of the position

This position calls for managing the safety standards in the site (specific package), complying to the client safety requirements and organizations prescribed safety requirements.

Responsibilities & duties

▌Responsibility 1

Work standard

• Assist to site safety in-charge in maintaining the safety standard at project site.
• Executing safety plan at site, checking safety standards.
• Responsible for HSE matter pertaining to project site.
• Conducting various safety training under the guidance of safety in-charge and site requirement.
• Conducting tool box/pep talk, mock drill with workers and staffs.
• Assisting Safety Officer in job safety analysis, risk assessment, preparation of safety checklist.
• Preparation of primary investigation report of incidents at site.
• Notification of incidents to all concerns.

▌Responsibility 2

Work standard

• Attending safety meeting weekly & monthly with contractors.
• Assisting in preparation of accident/incident report, monthly HSE report, safety files & records, coordination with customer, factory inspector.
• Actively participate in all kinds of safety inspection at site.
• Conducting tool box at site on daily basis
• Monitoring of waste disposal from site.
• Identifying best safety practices at site.
• Identifying unsafe working condition at site.
• Maintaining waste disposal from site.

Preferred candidate profile

Essential

BSC with DSE

Additional Certification in Safety or Memberships

Language proficiency

Desirable

Diploma (Civil/Mechnical) from a reputed institute and DSE first class

Member of National Safety Council of India

Proficient in English. Proficient in mother tongue, proficient in Hindi. Acceptable other Indian language capabilities

3 Years in a construction company.
