Responsibilities:

Proactively monitor Oracle database performance using various tools and techniques.
Identify and diagnose performance bottlenecks, including SQL queries, database configuration, and resource contention.
Develop and implement performance tuning strategies to optimize database response times and throughput.
Analyze SQL execution plans and identify areas for improvement.
Optimize database initialization parameters and other configuration settings.
Implement and maintain performance monitoring and alerting systems.
Collaborate with development teams to review SQL queries and suggest optimizations.
Perform database capacity planning and forecasting.
Develop and maintain performance tuning documentation and best practices.
Provide performance tuning recommendations to development and operations teams.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle database features and performance tuning techniques.
