Simform Solutions - Cloud Solution Architect - Data Engineering (8-15 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Solution Architect(Data Engineering) to join our dynamic team. The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing, creating, deploying, and managing cloud data engineering services across the cloud.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement cloud architectures using different cloud services.

- Leverage extensive knowledge of AWS/Azure services such as AWS Glue, Databricks, Redshift, Synapse, Kafka, Event Hub, Airflow, Kinesis to architect robust data analytics platforms.

- Strong understanding of design patterns and its application in designing enterprise grade highly secure, performant, resilient, and high availability solutions on AWS/Azure

- Data Architecture Design : Develop and maintain a comprehensive data architecture strategy that aligns with the business objectives and technology landscape.

- Data Integration : Oversee the integration of data from disparate sources into unified, accessible systems using ETL/ELT processes.

- Technology Evaluation : Evaluate and recommend data management tools, technologies, and best practices to improve data infrastructure and processes.

- Engage with potential clients, understand their challenges & requirements, and translate requirements into technical solutions

- Collaborate with the sales/pre-sales team to create proposals, RFP responses, and technical presentations for proposed solution

- Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.

- Security : Ensure data security and privacy by implementing best practices for data encryption, access controls, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

- Data Governance : Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, consistency, and security.

Technical Skills:

- Expertise with at least one cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services

- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Flink)

- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server)

- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse, BigQuery)

- AWS or Azure Solution Architect certification

- Experience with BI tool (PowerBI/Tableau/Quicksight/Looker) would be plus

- Experience with data governance frameworks and tools
