About the Role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Manager to lead and enhance the DevOps processes and infrastructure for our fast-growing distributed cloud platform. The ideal candidate will be key in designing, planning, and operationalizing a robust DevOps ecosystem to support scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Implementation: Establish and manage the design, planning, and operational processes for the cloud platform to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Automation & CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Security Management: Implement and maintain application security tools (AWS WAF, Cloudflare WAF) to safeguard against threats like DDoS attacks, DNSSEC vulnerabilities, SQL injection, XSS, and more.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Oversee and manage AWS services such as CloudFront, IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, Route 53, and CodePipeline for optimal performance.
• DNS Management: Administer and troubleshoot DNS-hosted zones across platforms such as GoDaddy, BigRock, and Amazon.
• Monitoring & Backup: Utilize monitoring and backup tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, AWS Backup Service) to ensure system uptime and disaster recovery readiness.
• Web Server Administration: Configure, optimize, and manage web servers such as Nginx and Apache.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Lead efforts in containerization using Docker and managed deployments with Kubernetes to streamline application development and scaling.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and IT, to foster a culture of continuous integration and deployment.

Key Requirements

• Experience: 6-10 years in DevOps roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Scripting Expertise: Strong proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation.
• CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
• Security Tools: Knowledge and experience with tools like AWS WAF, and Cloudflare WAF for application security.
• Cloud Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of AWS services, including CloudFront, IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, Route 53, and CodePipeline.
• DNS Management: Experience in managing DNS services and domain hosting providers like GoDaddy, BigRock, and Amazon.
• Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch, AWS Backup service, and similar tools.
• Web Servers: Proficiency in Nginx/Apache configuration and management.
• Container Technologies: Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and collaborate across departments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-cloud environments (e.g., Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools.
• Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or DevOps (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, CKA).
