SignDesk - Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Java/Selenium (2-6 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled QA-Automation Manual Engineer with 1-3 years of experience in Automation and Manual testing and a solid background in creating and executing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or similar technologies. As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and usability of our software products.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Understand business requirements and product features to effectively achieve quality goals.

- Execute manual tests to assess software usability and identify any issues, errors, or bugs.

- Analyze test results and report on the impact of identified defects and usability concerns.

- Collaborate with development teams to communicate test findings, coordinate bug fixes, and prevent reoccurrence of issues.

- Manage test activities with a sense of urgency and accuracy, meeting project timelines.

- Continuously improve testing processes and identify opportunities to enhance the quality assurance procedures

- Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures.

- Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.

- Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications.

Skills and Requirements :

- Proficient in analytical and logical thinking, with a keen eye for detail.

- Excellent communication and articulation skills. Coordination skills with team members and stakeholders.

- Knowledge of at least one programming language is a plus (Java or Typescript/Javascript on Playwright Framework)

- Experience working productively and efficiently in an agile development environment.

- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Familiarity with testing web applications, API testing, and working with databases.

- Understanding of Agile methodologies and associated processes.

- Basic understanding of Functional, Unit, Sanity, and Regression testing concepts.

- Familiarity with leading tools for requirement management, test case management, bug management, and version control.
