Job Summary
We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to develop, implement, and manage quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services. The QA Manager will lead a team of QA professionals, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement to meet business objectives and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, analysts, and testers.
Define team goals, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback.
Develop and implement QA strategies, policies, and procedures.
Establish quality standards and ensure adherence across all stages of the product lifecycle.
Plan and execute QA activities in alignment with project timelines and goals.
Identify areas for process optimization and implement best practices.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Oversee the design, execution, and documentation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Manage and prioritize testing efforts across multiple projects and releases.
Evaluate and implement QA tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.
Promote automation and ensure integration of automated testing practices.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
Track and report on quality metrics, test progress, and defect trends.
Work closely with product management, development, and operations teams to deliver high-quality products.
Communicate QA findings, risks, and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
Experience:
Proven experience (5+ years) in software quality assurance, with at least 1 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools and methodologies.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in QA tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail) and test management frameworks.
Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
Certifications such as ISTQB, CSM, or PMP are a plus.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
