Job Overview:
As a Partner Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's revenue growth through strategic channel partnerships. You will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with channel partners, including resellers, distributors, and system integrators, to promote and sell our IT infrastructure products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Channel Partner Relationship Management:
• Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners aligned with the company's strategic goals. • Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners, ensuring their satisfaction and engagement.
2. Sales Strategy and Planning:
• Develop and implement effective channel sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with market demand and channel partner needs.
3. Training and Enablement:
• Provide product training and support to channel partners, ensuring they are well-equipped to effectively sell and support our solutions.
• Keep partners informed about new products, enhancements, and industry trends.
4. Sales Performance Monitoring:
• Track and analyse channel sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures as needed.
• Work closely with partners to set and achieve sales targets.
5. Market and Competitive Analysis:
• Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to recommend adjustments to the channel sales strategy.
6. Collaboration with Internal Teams:
• Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
7. Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare regular reports on channel sales performance, forecasting, and market trends.
• Maintain accurate records of partner interactions and transactions.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in channel sales, preferably in the IT infrastructure industry.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure products and services.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyse data and trends to make informed decisions.
• Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
