Description :

Sr. Calypso Developer

Responsibilities :

- Supporting business on day-to-day Queries, resolution of business issues, maintaining a release cycle, enhancing and maintaining the Automation Regression Tool (CATT)

- Conducting detailed analysis of incidents, identifying patterns, and proposing preventive measures

- Developing and maintaining a knowledge base of common issues, workarounds, and solutions

- Collaborating with the development team to escalate and track software bugs and feature requests. Co-ordinating release cycles, prioritisation meetings with CTB team

- Responsibility of knowledge transfer sessions from CTB

- Overnight (on-call) batch support for London and Singapore desk

- Assisting in the creation and review of technical documentation for end-users and support teams

- Provide test scenarios and support to business during testing cycle

You will have expertise in :

- Capital markets, with particular exposure to various asset classes like FX, Commodities, Fixed Income products and the associated high-level product lifecycle

- Proficient understanding of the Calypso platform especially back office e.g. collateral management, FX settlements, security lifecycle processing and settlements, ISO integration, cash and custody management

- Calypso knowledge and exposure to incident management tools like JIRA, Cherwell

- Exposure to release management software like Git hub, Team city OR Jenkins

- Exposure to CATT (Calypso automation testing tool)

- Knowledge of relevant programming languages and scripting for effective troubleshooting. Basic PL/SQL and Unix knowledge is desirable.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of complex issues.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Functional understanding of Capital Markets covering :

1. FX

2. Securities

3. Collateral Margining

4. Cash-Management

5. Corporate Actions

6. Trade Lifecycle

7. Trade Confirmation, Settlements, Accounting

8. Regulations - IOSCO, SWIFT ISO Standards (Desirable)\
