Job Description
- 5+ Years experience managing cloud servers (AWS preferred, Azure desirable);
- Excellent knowledge of LAMP stack deployments with Apache2 and/or NGINX.
- Excellent knowledge of Ubuntu Server or similar.
- Excellent knowledge of server management, monitoring and debugging.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Excellent knowledge of Java, Scripting, SQL and Terraform.
- Experience using version control, preferably with Git or AWS Code Commit.
- Experience with AWS RDS, S3, EC2, EBS, EFS, IAM, and related AWS services.
- Degree in Computer Science, or similar area.
- Previous experience working with and optimising very large databases.
- Experience with Sentry, Zabbix, SonarQube, Grafana and Nessus server management/code scanning tools.
- Knowledgeable of, and keen to apply industry standards.
- Experience using Jira or similar systems.
- Experience with Docker or similar development tools.
- Experience managing MariaDB Columnstore clusters.
- Previous experience working with financial/transactional data.
- Ability to support with external audits if required (e.g. ISO 27001).
- Experience with Informatica Cloud.
