Job Description
- Review contract and seek clarifications
- Develop engineering concepts and schemes, seekapproval from customer
- Preparation of IO database from customerdocuments.
- Prepare engineering drawings & documents,guide and monitor junior colleague, ensure correctness of documentation in linewith guidelines and customer.
- Ensuring all engineering process are followedand deliver good quality engineering output.
- specifications, interface with customers /consultants/ internal departments for technical discussions & approvals,report progress (including risks) and key issues to superiors to meet projectengineering schedules / milestones
- Prepare system integration procedure, obtainapprovals, supervise & conduct system integration tests / FAT in line withthe procedure, review results to ensure that the delivered system meets therequired project specifications.
- Technical support to execution group duringtechno- commercial negotiations and offer preparation to achieve cost effectivesolutions & timely execution of the project.
- Conducting training of client, in- houseengineers in order to maintain the system properly, to reduce engineering andcommissioning time and to induce the customer confidence in the system.
- Standardization of Engineering andCommissioning processes in order to reduce engineering and commissioningcycles, to minimize the non-conformance cost (internal & external) and toachieve process maturity.
- Ready to travel engineering and commissioningsite in India and abroad.
Education & experience:
- Education: BE/B.Tech inInstrumentation / Electronics / ENTC and allied branches.
- 3-10 years experience in engineering andcommissioning of automation system
- Power plant knowledge required, Steam Turbineauxiliary and Governor control knowledge required
- Candidates with advance trainings certificateof Siemen DCS/PLC/SCADA/Instrumentation or such certificates from otherautomation vendor (manufacturer) company will be preferable.
- SCADA Systems: Simatic S7, TIA & WinCCengineering, testing, and commissioning expertise is preferable
- Engineering tools knowledge: T3000, PCS7 PlantAutomation Accelerator, COMOS is preferable
- Engineering tools knowledge WINCC OA ispreferable
- Preferably, good experience on communicationprotocols like MODBUS, Profibus, Profinet, HART, Ethernet, OPC etc.
- Knowledge of communication interfaces like MPI,Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet TCP/IP
- OSI PI Historian knowledge & experiencewill have preference.
- Knowledge of safety system (Fail safe system)
- Excellent English language skills. Knowledge offoreign languages e.g., German, Spanish, French will have added advantage.
- Good self-integration in international projectteams. Easy adaption of European US and/or Middle east working styles. Socialintegration in the Host Countries. Self-challenging working style, takingownership and solution oriented.
- Must have good interpersonal skills.
