What You Bring
Bachelor, Master or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent knowledge
Communication and presentation skills (English)
Experienced in working in international development teams
Professional user of 3D CAD Design tools like NX, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks
Knowledge of PLM systems such as Teamcenter and SAP tools
General understanding of manufacturing and assembly drawings
Good knowledge of Tolerancing principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience with AC and DC switchboards including integration of electrical components according to datasheets and local factory regulations
Experience with electrical power solutions and electromechanical understanding
Knowledge with international standards and Class regulations (DNV, ABS, LR etc)
Collaboration with cross-discipline engineers, and manufacturers to ensure coherence
Work experience in Marine / Offshore / Process industry is an advantage
Knowledge with welding, soldering and materials is an advantage
