Subsystem Manager Automatic Train Supervision

Workassignments:

• Responsibility for the management of massroll-outs of ATS Systems as part of large-scale railway infrastructure projectswithin time, budget and quality framework: Ensuring economic success and(internal) customer satisfaction for ATS application projects.
• Carrying the responsibility for the applicationscope, both technical and commercial. Representation of the application scopewithin the project towards the PM and customer, whilst reporting to the linemanagement (group lead).

Applicationplanning, controlling and reporting:

• For ATS projects: determination of thecomprehensive project objectives from the Project Management and provideddocuments. Preparation of the project planning and the required projectdocuments. Ensuring compliance with defined procedures/processes for projectcontrolling and reporting.

Applicationimplementation:

• Coordination of the complex applicationimplementation with international partners. Ensuring that the application goalsdefined with the project management and all project participants are achieved.

Explorationof further business opportunities:

• Identification and exploitation of additionalbusiness opportunities during project implementation, e.g. identifying ChangeRequests or extending the scope towards generic application work packages.

• Degree in electricalengineering or systems engineering preferably with railway specificspecialization
• Professionalexperience of minimum 5 years in railway transportation systems, ideally in therail systems business, with the focus on Engineering in ATS domain
• Knowledgeof project management principles for project realization and execution
• FluentEnglish essential both written and oral, knowledge of German an asset
• Independentand structured approach to work
• Teamleadership and mediation skills between teams
