Job Description
Job Description:
Siemens Healthineers is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Product Application Specialist to join our Point of Care (POC) business unit. As a Product Application Specialist , you will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team through pre-sales activities, conducting sales demos, engaging with customers in clinical settings, and handling technical escalations or product service related assignments.
Responsibilities:
Sales Management
o Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the assigned sales territory or state(s).
o Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company s customer base.
o Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships through appropriate engagement plans.
o Present sales, revenue and other related sales reports, sales forecasts to the management team as per expectations.
o Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Pre-sales Support:
o Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and tailor product demonstrations accordingly.
o Conduct pre-sales presentations, product walkthroughs, and technical discussions to showcase the capabilities of Siemens Healthineers Point of Care solutions.
o Portfolio Solution Show(s)
o Support pre-bid meetings for tender based projects
Sales Demos:
o Lead and coordinate product demonstrations, ensuring a comprehensive showcase of features and benefits.
o Provide in-depth technical insights during demos to address customer inquiries and concerns effectively.
Customer Clinical Engagements:
o Engage with healthcare professionals in clinical settings to understand workflow requirements and clinical challenges.
o Demonstrate (technically) how Siemens Healthineers POC solutions can address specific clinical needs and improve patient outcomes.
Technical Expertise:
o Maintain a thorough understanding of Siemens Healthineers Point of Care product portfolio.
o Stay updated on industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies related to Point of Care.
Escalation Management:
o Act as a technical point of contact for customer escalations, working closely with the support team to resolve issues promptly.
o Provide timely and accurate updates to customers and manage internal stakeholder communication during escalation management.
Product Trainings & Hands-on Sessions:
o Organize and lead hands-on training sessions for customers, sales and channel partner teams to enhance their proficiency in using Siemens Healthineers Point of Care products.
o Provide ongoing support and follow-up sessions to reinforce efficient usage and address any user concerns.
Qualification(s):
1. Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Laboratory Science, etc.).
2. Proven experience (min. 3 years) in a similar role within the healthcare or diagnostics industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of Point of Care diagnostics and familiarity with Siemens Healthineers product portfolio.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle technical escalations efficiently.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and support.
