Senior Test Automation Engineer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Test Automation Engineer with expertise in Python and Selenium or other automation tools like robot framework to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and executing automated test scripts, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop, maintain, and execute manual tests and automated test scripts using Python and Selenium.
2. Design and implement robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation frameworks.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
4. Identify, report, and track bugs and defects, ensuring their resolution.
5. Perform regression testing and ensure the reliability of new and existing features.
6. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure testability and quality.
7. Continuously improve test automation processes, tools, and techniques.
8. Monitor and analyze test results, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
9. Ensure test environments are set up, configured, and maintained appropriately.
10. Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in test automation best practices.

Requirements:
1. Proven 4 to 6 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer or similar role.
2. Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
3. Experience with Test Automation Tools like Selenium for Test Driven Development and Experience with Test Automation Tools like Cucumber for Behaviour Driven Development.
4. Deep understanding of different types of automation frameworks and tools.
5. Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices.
6. Experience with version control systems such as Git.
7. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
8. Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
9. Experience with testing frameworks like PyTest or unittest.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
11. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:
- ISTQB or similar certification is desirable.
