About the Role:

- We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager with a strong background in Automotive sales to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key accounts, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills who can understand client needs and deliver solutions that align with our software offerings.
- The Senior Account Manager will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and ensuring long-term customer success.
What you'll do:
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed annual sales targets while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
- Lead Qualification & Pipeline Management: Identify, qualify, and manage sales leads, ensuring a robust and healthy sales revenue pipeline.
- Sales & Business Planning: Develop and execute sales and business plans to achieve annual objectives, providing accurate and timely reports and forecasts to the leadership team.
- Prospecting & Customer Acquisition: Identify and qualify potential customers, actively penetrate targeted prospects to expand the customer base.
- Team Selling & Collaboration: Develop a team-selling approach, acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams, including pre-sales technical specialists, inside sales, and customer service.
- Account Expansion: Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within existing accounts, driving increased sales and market share.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and other sales teams to align on strategies, maximize profitability, and ensure product-market fit.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify challenges and opportunities.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze sales data, generate reports to track progress, and present insights to internal stakeholders for strategic decision-making.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Manage negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract renewals, focusing on building long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Customer Support: Address customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
What you should know:
- Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5+ years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in a B2B environment or with a focus on selling to Automotive OEMs.
- Deep relationship with Procurement and Engineering leadership teams at Automotive OEMs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Required domestic/international travel to customer locations as needed.
- Understanding of the industry and market trends.
- Experience in automotive, SaaS, and B2B is a plus.
- Nice to have experience in working on Software Engineering projects in the Auto industry working with OEMs.
