Key Responsibilities:
End-User Support:
Provide first-line support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral devices (e.g., printers, monitors).
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues for end users, ensuring fast and effective resolution.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux) and software applications.
Set up and configure new workstations and troubleshoot existing systems for performance issues or errors.
System Maintenance & Configuration:
Ensure that desktop systems are regularly updated with the latest patches, security updates, and software versions.
Perform routine hardware diagnostics and repairs, replacing faulty components as needed.
Maintain and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords in Active Directory (or other identity management systems).
Ensure compliance with IT policies, including security, data protection, and software licensing.
Network & Connectivity Support:
Assist with network connectivity issues, including wired and wireless setups, VPN configurations, and network troubleshooting.
Support the configuration of desktop systems to connect to network resources, file shares, and printers.
