Medical Coder (US Healthcare RCM)

Role & responsibilities

Review and analyze medical records and documents to assign appropriate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.

Ensure accurate coding in compliance with federal regulations, payer-specific guidelines, and company policies.

Collaborate with billing teams to resolve coding-related denials and rejections.

Provide education and guidance to clients and staff regarding coding updates and compliance standards.

Stay updated on the latest coding guidelines, payer rules, and industry trends.

Audit coding accuracy and identify areas for improvement in clinical documentation

Preferred candidate profile

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Medical Coder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of medical coding guidelines (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS), payer-specific policies, and compliance requirements.
