Position: Senior Manager Legal

Location: Shri Venkateshwara University, Gajraula

Relevant Experience: 8+ years (University & Medical College)

Working Days: 6 Days (Monday to Saturday)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as the Senior Manager Legal at Shri Venkateshwara University in Amroha. The Senior Manager Legal will be responsible for legal compliance, consulting on legal matters, preparing legal documents, and addressing legal issues on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Advisory: Provide legal advice and support to the management team on a wide range of matters including corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory issues pertinent to the University and Medical College.

Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements including supply agreements, licensing agreements, and partnership contracts to ensure the organization interests are protected.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Stay updated with changes in legislation and assess their impact on the organization.

Litigation Strategy Development: Formulating and executing strategic plans for managing and resolving litigation matters, including commercial disputes, intellectual property issues, and regulatory challenges.

Case Management: Leading the preparation and oversight of legal actions, from initial claim assessments and discovery to trial and settlement negotiations.

Dispute Resolution: Handle legal disputes and litigation, including managing external legal cases and developing strategies to resolve issues effectively.

Risk Management: Identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Advise on risk management and implement best practices.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of legal documents and contracts. Prepare legal reports and summaries for senior management.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in law from a reputable university or law college.
• 8+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a University & Medical College.
• Being a Qualified CS is an added advantage
