Head of Finance and Accounts

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to oversee the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising activities with banks, NBFCs, and other private financial institutions, alongside expertise in managing day-to-day finance functions, ensuring smooth operational liquidity, and driving strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fundraising and Banking Relations:

• Lead and manage fundraising initiatives with banks, NBFCs, private banks, and other financial institutions.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with lenders and financial stakeholders.
• Negotiate loan terms and secure favourable financing options to support business growth.

2. Financial Planning and Management:

• Oversee the management of funds to ensure adequate cash flow for day-to-day operational needs.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize resource allocation and minimize costs.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for senior management.

3. Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Develop internal controls to mitigate financial risks and safeguard company assets.

4. Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
• Foster a collaborative and performance-driven work environment.

5. Strategic Contributions:

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support long-term business strategies.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Qualified CA/CMA with 10-15 years of experience in corporate finance, fundraising, and financial operations.
• Strong understanding of banking and financial institution networks.
• Proven leadership and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis.
