Core Responsibilities (Transcription QA):

• Accuracy Verification: The primary responsibility is to meticulously review transcribed audio to ensure it matches the spoken content exactly. This includes checking for:
• Verbatim Accuracy: Every spoken word, including fillers (um, ah), stutters, and repetitions, is transcribed correctly.
• Numbers, Dates, and Times: These are transcribed accurately and consistently.
• Industry-Specific Terminology: Technical terms, jargon, and proper names are transcribed correctly.
• Contextual Understanding: The transcriber demonstrates an understanding of the context of the conversation to ensure accuracy.
• Completeness Check: Ensuring that no portion of the audio is missing from the transcription. This involves:
• Full Audio Coverage: Verifying that the entire audio file has been transcribed.
• No Skipped Sections: Checking for any gaps or omissions in the transcription.
• Error Reporting and Feedback: Identifying and documenting any errors or inconsistencies in the transcription.

Responsibilities Specific to Speaker Mapping:

• Speaker Identification: Accurately identifying and labelling each speaker in the transcript. This often involves:
• Distinguishing Voices: Carefully listening to differentiate between different speakers based on their voices, accents, or speaking styles.
• Researching Speaker Information: When names or other identifying information are available in the audio or associated materials, researching to confirm and complete speaker profiles. This is a crucial part of speaker mapping QA.
• Resolving Speaker Attribution Issues: Addressing any ambiguities or uncertainties in speaker identification. This might involve re-listening to sections of the audio, consulting with other team members.
