senior Account Executive

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to manage and oversee the accounting activities at Shivam Automovers Pvt Ltd. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and preparing accurate reports. The Senior Accounts Executive will work closely with the management team and assist in financial decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Manage Tally receivables and payables, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Handle vendor payments and follow up on pending payments, maintaining good vendor relationships.
• Reconcile accounts, including vendor payment reconciliations, bank statements, and other financial records.
• Perform VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP functions to analyze financial data and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including tax filings (GST, TDS, etc.).
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payments and collections.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
• Handle audits and work closely with external auditors during audit processes.
• Monitor and report on financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Support payroll processing and ensure proper documentation for employees.
• Assist in managing the financial software and ensuring proper data entry and record keeping.
• Liaise with external vendors, suppliers, and clients regarding financial matters.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field. (Relevant certifications like CA Inter/Final or ICWA are a plus)
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Proficient in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or other relevant tools).
• Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards and tax regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and other financial functions.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.Role & responsibilities
