Finance Executive - General Ledger

Purpose of Position:
To assist the GL Controller in performing activities with respect to accounting, month end closing, audit and financial reporting to support the error free accounts and reporting of the organization.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

GL Executive:

• Ensure Data Accuracy
• Analyze Financial Information
• Resolving accounting issues and queries
• Assisting in internal and external audits
• Perform month-end and year end account closing activities and reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for accruals
• Perform accounting analysis for cash accruals, account payables, account receivables, reconciliations and foreign exchange.
• Provide appropriate accounting information to customers/vendors when needed.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and revenue accounts.
• Review financial reports to identify and explain variances.
• Prepare schedules for statutory Audit
• Prepare data for tax notices
• Adhere to standard accounting principles and company procedures.
• Perform accounting analyses and reporting to support decision-making purposes.
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register
