Embedded System Architecture

• Microcontroller (MCU) selection
• Hardware design for MCU

Analog & Digital Electronics

• Knowledge of resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, and operational amplifiers
• Signal processing, ADC/DAC interfacing, and sensor integration
• Noise reduction techniques, filtering, and impedance matching

Power Management

• Power supply design (SMPS, linear regulators, LDOs, and battery management)
• Low-power and energy-efficient embedded systems design
• Power budgeting and thermal management

Understanding of Embedded Communication Protocols

• Serial (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS-485, LIN)
• Wireless (BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, LoRa, NB-IoT, Sub-GHz RF)

Testing & Debugging Tools

• Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers
• JTAG/SWD debuggers (ST-Link, Segger J-Link)
• EMI/EMC testing and compliance troubleshooting
