Senior Hardware Design Engineer - MedTech

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct research on latest technologies and sensors in the MedTech domain
• Design and develop hardware for medical devices from concept to production
• Create schematics and oversee PCB layout and assembly processes
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., IEC 60601, ISO 13485)
• Manage bill of materials (BOM) and inventory
• Coordinate with vendors and manage component sourcing
• Perform quality control checks and troubleshoot hardware issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software and mechanical engineers

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in hardware design for medical devices
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad)
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design
• Familiarity with medical device regulations and standards
• Experience with sensor integration and signal processing
• Skills in prototyping, testing, and debugging hardware
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and DFM principles
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
