Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Lead with expertise in both manual and automated testing to lead our QA efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the logistics domain and a proven track record of driving quality assurance practices. In this role, you will lead a team to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Strategy & Leadership :

- Lead the QA team in developing, documenting, and maintaining comprehensive test cases and automation scripts for web, mobile, and backend systems.

- Establish and implement test strategies for both manual and automated testing, ensuring complete coverage of functional, regression, and performance testing.

- Lead and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings, ensuring QA goals are met.

Test Execution :

- Oversee the execution of manual and automated test cases across various platforms including APIs, web applications, and mobile applications.

- Ensure thorough identification, recording, documentation, and tracking of bugs.

- Drive regression testing after bug fixes to ensure system stability.

Collaboration :

- Act as the point of contact between QA and development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that requirements are clear and quality is prioritized.

- Collaborate with teams to resolve defects efficiently and improve product delivery timelines.

Continuous Improvement :

- Analyze specifications to identify test requirements, design test coverage plans, and suggest process improvements for continuous enhancement of quality standards.

- Drive the adoption of best practices in test automation and manual testing processes.

Reporting & Documentation :

- Provide detailed reports on testing activities, including test results, bug summaries, and product quality metrics.

- Monitor and manage the debugging process to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in software testing with a strong blend of manual and automated testing, including leadership experience.

- Extensive experience in the logistics domain is highly preferred.

- Proven experience with automation tools like Selenium, QTP, or similar.

- Strong background in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, etc.

- Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).

- Strong working knowledge of MySQL.

Skills :

- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

- Proficiency in MySQL for data validation and backend testing.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with great attention to detail.

- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.

Preferred :

- Experience with performance and security testing.

- ISTQB or equivalent certification.(Mandatory)
