ShipGlobal - Senior Frontend Developer - React.js/Next.js (4-7 yrs)

Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced ReactJS / NextJS + jQuery Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries, particularly ReactJS / NextJS, as well as a solid grasp of jQuery. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining scalable and efficient web applications, ensuring exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop user interface components using ReactJS, NextJS, Redux Toolkit, and jQuery.

- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Maintain and improve existing web applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.

- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in web development.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in web development, with substantial experience in ReactJS/NextJS and jQuery.

- Experience with TypeScript.

- Proficient in Tailwind CSS, CSS3 and HTML5.

- Must have good UI/UX knowledge.

- Ability to create custom reusable ReactJs/NextJS UI components.

- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Axios, Ajax, React Query, Vite, Webpack, NPM, etc.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.

- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.

- Experience with jQuery and understanding of its use cases and limitations.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.

- Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines and tools.

- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

- A knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with modern authorization mechanisms, such as JWT.

- Experience in an Agile/Scrum development process.

- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills.
