Process Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure all product and system requirements are considered throughout the product lifecycle.
• Reduce manufacturing variability through standard work methods and instructions.
• Guarantee product and process quality meets specifications using various SPC tools & techniques.
• Analyze and plan workflows to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Plan and organize maintenance schedules.
• Report downtime and identify potential trends.
• Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives, problem-solving, and process optimization.
• Investigate production and process issues, providing technical support and training.
• Maintain awareness of current and evolving engineering practices.
• Participate in special projects as needed (e.g., new technology implementation, cost reduction initiatives).
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
• Conduct quality control reviews of work.
• Lead and support process improvement activities.
• Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Perform root cause analysis to resolve problems.

Preferred candidate profile

BE/B tech in Industrial engineering / Mechanical Engineering from a reputed collage.
Knowledge in Auto Cad, PLC, & SCADA would be more preferrable.
