Contracts Manager (Building Construction)

As a contracts manager, you will be responsible for overseeing important legal documents relating to construction projects, Bidding, Cost estimation, pre-tender processes, Quality surveying and ensuring that any issues which arise are resolved as quickly and effectively as possible.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Preparing tenders for clients and commercial bids to help bring in new business
• Developing and presenting project proposals
• Meeting with clients to find out their requirements
• Detailed study of tender documents, preparation of pre-bid points, scrutinizing various general and special terms & conditions of the contracts.
• Preparation of rate analysis of all civil items for the tender bid process.
• Preparation of tender and contract documents including BOQ s.
• Preparation of site overheads for the tender bid.
• Prepare and finalize the cost estimate. Maintain all files, and data related to the project.
• Quantity surveying of architectural, structural (including BBS), MEP works. Cross-check it by preparing constant sheets.
• Preparation of green schedule (Budget) for the awarded contracts.
• Calling for quotations from the contractors, taking quotations, negotiations & making comparative statements.
• Coordinate with various design teams during the tender bid process.
• Quantity surveying & rate analysis of precast structural members (precast prefab building technology).

Education and Skills

UG : B.Tech/B.E. - Civil, Diploma - Civil

An understanding of the construction industry

An understanding of legal documentation

Good verbal communication skills.

Must Have experience in Residential building (High Rise) construction.

Must have experience in Contracting firm.

10+ years of Experience
