Job Description

Role & responsibilities


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research and Strategy:
    • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify opportunities across all types of building construction projects and PMC services.
    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new growth opportunities.
  2. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
    • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients in residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional building construction projects.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  3. Proposal and Contract Management:
    • Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, presentations, and tender documents.
    • Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  4. Strategic Growth Planning:
    • Align business development strategies with organizational goals to meet revenue and market expansion targets.
    • Contribute to the planning and execution of company goals in building construction and PMC services.
  5. Collaboration with Internal Teams:
    • Work closely with project management, technical, and design teams to ensure client requirements are met.
    • Partner with finance and legal teams to finalize contracts and address compliance matters.
  6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Track sales metrics and KPIs, providing regular updates to senior management.
    • Propose improvements to optimize business development processes.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of all types of building construction projects (residential, commercial, industrial, institutional) and PMC services.
  • Expertise in client acquisition, relationship management, and contract negotiation.
  • Ability to develop and deliver impactful proposals and presentations.
  • Knowledge of the Mumbai market and Maharashtras construction landscape.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Analytical thinking and a results-driven approach with proven success in meeting targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Preferred: Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing, Operations, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8 to 10 years of business development experience in the construction or PMC sectors.
