Sales Manger

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Manager to join our team at Sharkspace. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving membership sales, generating leads, and building relationships with potential clients. Your primary goal is to maximize occupancy rates, increase revenue, and ensure the coworking space is filled with thriving businesses and entrepreneurs. Youll work closely with the marketing and community teams to ensure that all sales initiatives align with our brand and goals.

Role & responsibilities : Lead Generation & Sales

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new members.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities through networking, outbound calls, social media, and business development efforts.
• Respond to inquiries, conduct tours of the coworking space, and showcase the value proposition of our offerings.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline of potential clients by building relationships with startups, freelancers, and larger organizations seeking flexible office solutions.
• Close sales and negotiate membership agreements with potential members, including private offices, meeting rooms, and event spaces.
• Conduct on-site visits to assess the suitability of properties, including evaluating the condition of the space, infrastructure, and potential for customization.
• Actively scout and identify potential properties that meet the criteria for setting up coworking spaces, including location, size, accessibility, and amenities.
• Customer Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing members to foster retention and upsell opportunities.
• Conduct regular check-ins with current members to understand their evolving needs and suggest solutions that enhance their coworking experience.
• Address and resolve any concerns or challenges potential or current members might have to ensure a positive experience.
• Collaboration & Teamwork
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales initiatives with marketing campaigns and events.
• Provide feedback to the community management team about member interests, concerns, and areas for improvement.
• Work with the finance team to ensure all agreements and payments are properly documented and tracked.
• Data & Reporting
• Track sales metrics and analyze data to measure performance, identify trends, and refine strategies.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends to present to leadership.
• Market Research & Competitor Analysis
• Keep abreast of market trends in coworking, remote work, and flexible office solutions.
• Monitor competitor activity and adjust sales tactics to stay competitive.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the coworking, real estate, or hospitality sectors.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with a customer-first attitude.
• Ability to build rapport with a variety of personalities, from startups to corporate clients.
• A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with a passion for closing deals and driving growth.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of CRM tools and basic sales reporting.
• Understanding of coworking trends and the needs of remote workers, freelancers, and startups is a plus.
